ABOUT US
Amy studied fine art in college and learned to use a darkroom during a summer abroad in London. There, she fell in love with the soft, rich quality of film. She continues to photograph her subjects almost exclusively using film, and seeks to create classic images that express emotion and sense of place. With a strong passion for photographing people, Amy breathes life into her photos, capturing even the most fleeting moments of emotion. Amy currently makes her home near Mobile Bay on the coast of Alabama, but is available for travel worldwide. When she doesn't have a camera in her hands, you'll probably find her chatting with brides, designing albums, or curled up with a hot cup of coffee.
Amy's better half, Douglas, is also a gifted photographer and helps out behind the scenes. He drinks entirely too much coffee, runs a bookstore, and likes to straighten things.
